Jesus: Revisited

I am not a spiritual guru. I did not go to seminary. I don’t have all the answers.

And I will not write a list of seven ways to get a better prayer life, or five things all Christian twenty-somethings should do to be successful.

But I have some thoughts. I’ve noticed some things.

A lot of good,

a lot of bad,

and a lot of ugly.

All in the name of the endlessly fascinating, ever endearing, and always challenging Jesus of Nazareth.

My hope is I can help you, the reader, and me, the writer, unlearn all the bad we learned about Christ, relearn all the good we learned about Christ, and begin to learn all the ugly, transformational, and brutally wonderful teachings of Christ that perhaps were never mentioned in the pulpit on Sunday.

I’ll say it again; I am not a spiritual guru.

I’m just another guy fascinated by Jesus of Nazareth, and these are my thoughts of how to do it, how not to do it, and how we might do it just a little bit better.
